What We Do

NB regarding the Coronavirus outbreak and all physical meetings temporarily suspended. We anticipate what is advertised below will re-commence when the Coronavirus outbreak has passed and we are able to safely meet again.  See "Meetings/Venues" page for Zoom meetings during the COVID-19 period (including for prayer).

We see prayer as a critically important part of church life.

Both personal and corporate prayer is equally important. The 4 main activities of prayer in TCF are:

1. Every other Sunday evening, 7.00 to 8.30pm at Giles & Sarah's (8 Gregson Walk, Dawley TF4 2GA).

2. Every Tuesday from 1.15pm to 2.00pm at Giles & Sarah's.

3. Sundays at 9.40am when we pray for God to move powerfully in the meeting and for those who are serving in the meeting.

4. In Home groups, where we pray (often fervently) for family, friends, neighbours and workmates to whom we are trying to witness and care for.  In addition we pray for one another as we meet challenges in life.

We have sought to increase the prayer life of TCF and currently we meet 3 times over a 2-week period.  For some years leading up to 2011 we met to pray once per month.  This has gradually increased to the current situation - and we want to continuously be "devoted to prayer", as was the early church.  We seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit whilst praying together as well as fervently seeking Him for the obvious and urgent situations that present themselves to us.
